Baldwin LightStream is proud to support local students who aspire to learn more within the technology field after high school graduation. We are leading the way with our communications technology in western Wisconsin, we look for students who are interested in being a future industry leader. With the rising cost of education, we know every little bit helps – so we are awarding $1000 annually to one student per school district who best matches our criteria. Scholarship applicants must be well-rounded, bright students who not only excel academically, but are also actively involved in their school and community. If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.

In light of the overwhelming evidence for the need and merit of privately supported scholarships, the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association established the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation, Inc. in April 1965.
The purpose of the Foundation, which is a non-profit organization, is to promote educational and scientific advancement by helping individuals obtain instructions or training to improve and develop their capabilities.
The Foundation's scholarship program has grown tremendously since the first two awards of $500 each were made in 1966. Since its inception the Foundation has awarded over $1,541,000 in scholarships to over 1,220 students. The Foundation celebrated 50 years of awarding scholarships in 2016!
